Do I need to eat the "wonder soup" everyday?

Yes. This is a really healthy vegetable soup  The soup is a great way to add more volume to your food to keep you full longer and without the corresponding increase in calories. Also, the calories burned by the body to digest and consume the soup are greater than the calories they contain. It is essential to eat this soup everyday to make this diet successful. You may eat as much as you like. Most people consume 2-3 cups of it.

Do I need nutritional supplements while I am on the diet?

Since this is such a healthy diet, you can do without the nutritional supplements during the 7 day period. An average person will be better nourished on this diet than he/she is on a regular basis. Besides, our bodies have a system of building up reserves of essential nutrients we need. However, after finishing the diet and undergoing a complete detox, you might want to incorporate natural remedies for ailments as well as for supplements.

Can I continue taking my prescription medicines while I am on the diet?

In our opinion, yes – you may continue to take prescription medicines while on the diet. Medicines do not interfere with weight loss and should never be changed without consulting a doctor.   However, it's best to check with your doctor before you start this diet, in fact we strongly recommed you do that.

How does this diet compare to the Atkins Diet?

The 7-day diet is a balanced diet over a seven day period providing fruits, vegetables, protein, fiber etc to give the body everything it needs to prompt weight loss. The Atkins Diet is different since it provides the body only with heavy doses of protein and deprives it of carbohydrates. Anytime the body is deprived of certain foods over a period of time, it makes up for the loss through other things like storing fat and making it more difficult than usual to lose weight.

How does this diet compare to the Glycemic Index Diet?

The Glycemic Index Diet is a healthy diet considering it focuses on the ability of foods to convert to sugar raising the sugar levels in the blood. This is a good baseline diet with some ideas that one can incorporate into daily life. The 7 day diet is more focused on a balanced and healthy way to shed 5-11 pounds in a week to jumpstart your weight loss plan and undergo a complete detox. Ideas from the Glycemic Index Diet can be incorporated into your maintenance plan.

How often can I repeat this diet?
You can repeat this diet almost once a month if you choose. Once in two months would be an efficient and healthy way to lose a few pounds that creep up on you when you are not paying attention! Many people like to do this diet after Thanksgiving and the Holidays since most people tend to overeat a little bit on their favorite holiday foods.
